Speaking of this, did any of you who may have installed Jaws 11 get a
message questioning one of the drivers in the jaws installation? What's
with that anyway?

Two things. First, it sounds a lot like what Microsoft was trying to
do around 10-12 years ago. Second, one of the big reasons that this
move has upset a lot of people is the very fact that so far at least,
I've never gotten a virus from using my Braille display. The idea is
ludicrous! Perhaps if the drivers for said display were locked into a
website and the activation for said display was sent over the web, but
we're still talking about vastly different devices. If I can get a
virus from using my Braille display, then I suppose that it's equally
as likely that I could get one from using my computer monitor. It
seems like FS is just doing this because they can, though I expect
that most of the Braille display manufacturers and distributors will
have their displays digitally signed by FS, since not doing so means
people can't use their displays with JAWS 11 and further.

Wayne
