thanks for the kind words. I've heard from Diane, and I'll be writing a 
formal tribute to Al to be read at his funeral service the 22, I think it 
is. Good thing I've got a few days to gather my wits about me before 
attempting that, is all I can say.

Joel, I think you wrote a fitting tribute to Albert. I did not know much
about him, but appreciated his contributions on the list. I realized from
the back-and-forth between you guys that you had become friends and a friend
