[gui-talk] turning off automatic numbering in Word 2007

For JAWS users struggling with the ribbons, I found a nifty plugin that
reproduces the tool bar menus for office 2003 within the ribbon framework of
2007, its not completely like going back to the initial menus but it gives
you the ability to use the 03 tool bar to find things like this that you
struggle to find in 07. I've found it pretty accessible with JAWS, play
around with it a bit and see.

It's a 15 day trial and then I think its $50 for the license. Seems pretty
clean, doesn't appear to have any nasty side effects. Good luck.

the keyboard shortcuts in Word 2007, just 2007 I did not test this with JAWS

as this is on another computer, is first you need to get to the Page Layout

tab on the ribbon so that is teh keyboard shortcut Alt P

Then to go to line numbers you type the keyboard shortcut LN

Then you have some options.

N for None

C for Continuous

R for Restart each page

e for Restart each Section

S for Suppress for Current Paragraph

L for Line Numbering Options, but that dialogue box has not shortcuts on it,

you will just have to tab through it.
