Hi, Steve. The problem is there are so many of them out there and figuring
out which ones are top rated can really be a problem.
The two you mentioned didn't come up on any of the sites I went to.
Bit defender seems to be a good one, but I did try that one a while ago and
it's completely inaccessible. Spyware doctor from pc tools is rated pretty
high, but again, not very accessible. Another highly rated one was shield
deluxe. Again, don't know how accessible it is. 
The last one I saw was one called spyzooka which is supposed to be great,
but you can't try it out; only buy it and get your money back if you don't
like it.

All in all, a pretty difficult task finding a top rated spyware removal
tool<grin>.

Sunbelt Software at www.sunbeltsoftware.com make two products to remove 
spyware and they are both very accessible.  the products are CounterSpy 
and VIPRE.  CounterSpy just detects and removes spyware whereas VIPRE 
removes viruses and spyware.  With both CounterSpy and VIPRE you can 
remove spyware while you are evaluating the products in contrast to some 
companies who only let you remove spyware once you pay for the product. 
I use VIPRE and I'm very happy with the product.  I hope this helps.

Hi, gang. I am looking for a good spyware removal program on the caliber

spy sweeper. I don't want anything like spybot; just something I can put 
on
my computer which will monitor and block an where I can schedule to run
automatically.

Is there anything out there which is accessible?
