Hi everyone!

Okay, this update may have been out for a few days but its very
recent, ran the Amadeus Pro software this morning in order to do some
audio editing and the update downloaded and installed automatically,
that's a feature I truly like about this software, no prompting or
anything, just downloading of the update, installing of the update and
the running of the software and you can see exactly what Amadeus Pro
is doing at any one time by interacting with the "progress monitor"
when it appears, Voiceover will tell you when its active.

Anyway I'm writing about the multi track features which seem to have
been enhanced a lot since I last played with them, you can now really
do interactive multi track mixing. Suppose for example you have the
playhead and insertion pointer near the end of a song and you'd like
to do a "Voiceover" announcement, press option-command-r and you'll
hear the material start playing from where the playhead is positioned,
at this point you may start talking into your microphone or playing
your input source which you can set under amadeus Pro, when you're
finished press the "stop" button. Now here's the slightly tricky bit
as the stop button appears on the screen and as far as I know there's
no shortcut key to activate this button at this time however, if you
know the layout of the screen then you'll be able to position
Voiceover on this button with just a few keystrokes and even better if
you're monitoring what you're doing with headphones <smile>.

If you're doing multi track work then you'll have to save your project
in the Amadeus Pro sound/document format but your projects can be
exported to other formats such as standard Wave, FLAC, Mp3 or
whatever, at this time all tracks are combined into a "master mix",
I'm yet to play with this facility so I'll let the list know how I get
on.

Its not often that one can report on things getting better with the
economic recession and a thousand other problems to put up with but at
least the author of Amadeus Pro is trying to change the trend and give
us some encouragement with a fantastic product.
