Oh. Well, that would sure be handy. If it had been available earlier, I'd 
have done that for years by now instead of bothering with that diskette. Can 
you find it just by going to nls.org and find a link on the home page? Or

Well, next time I get a new PC, I won't worry too much about it having a
floppy drive. The only thing it ever gets used for is the diskette of the
NLS Talking Book Topics text files that I do appreciate receiving quarterly
or whatever it is. Maybe there's some other way to get Talking Book Topics.
No, not Braille. I don't read Braille. And I'm not going to listen through
one of those interminable lists of books I don't care about in each category

just to hope I hear one or two titles or authors I'm interested in. So if
someone knows what I'd do if I didn't have a floppy drive, about this I
mean, speak up, okay?

And I just didn't remember right. I misremembered Apple computers as never
having had floppy drives, starting back with the lode pre-Macintosh models.
But they gave it up  ore recently? Okay. Thanks.

Joel:  A couple minor points -- you can still order some PC's with a
floppy drive, although their inclusion these days is pretty
rare.  Secondly, Mac's have not had a floppy drive for some time 7 or
8 years I think, but they used to have one.
