Hi list members, ken here. In her Daily news headlines today, Kim Komando
reports that the Chrome browser from Google is out of Beta. They're hoping to
increase popularity to google services. Has anyone tried it with any screen
reader including the NVDA or Web Anywhere? It likely won't work with
thunder, but system access, and Jaws, and window-eyes users may want to try it.
Also on another topic Does anyone on site use either Net Echo from Internet
Speech or Net-by-phone since it relaunched? I used Internet speech when I was
first getting my foot in the door on the net and since that was four years
ago, I'd like to see what changes they made to make it better. Same with
Net-by-phone. On Internet Speech you couldn't use some types of web forms such as
a signup to this list, you couldn't click a link on a page to send an email,
and you couldn't listen online to audio, and if you missed a link as it read
it you couldn't stop and back track to it. Have these issues been resolved?
Net Echo seems like a good alternative to the computer since all of us have
phones, and not everyone has computers.

I pledge to participate actively in the efforts of the national federation
of the blind to achieve equality, opportunity, and security for the blind; to
support the policies and programs of the federation; and abide by its
constitution.
**************Make your life easier with all your friends, email, and
favorite sites in one place. Try it now.
