hello scott and all,
first of all thanks for the update of some of the news here in the
nfb. as for registering for national convention i have already done so
for myself. as for the inaccesible site for setting up for the vaccine
i can can concur on this. i had to have a family member do this for me
in making my appointment for me which i had this done last weekend. i
believe that i have a email address for the tricare health department
in the email that i got in confirming for my appointment that i had
last saturday. if anyone wants it let me know here on this list or
privately off list.

as to dealing with discrimination at the facility i didn't have it at
all. they were very accomodiating to me and, dealt with my blindness
when i got it at the douglass county fairgrounds. but, after you get
whatever shot you plan to give you will need to do a daily check in
through the ap or on the net through the cdc and, it was very
accessible with jaws. here is the link you will need to do the daily
check in's which you will be notified by text message everyday. you
need to do this after you get the vaccine. it is vsafe.cdc.gov

you will need to register with the site and, then just do the rest.

as for the the testing well, i had this done through my doctor last
summer when i had came down sick after i had to do as unplanned trip
to michigan. she sent to uc health a form and, then i went with a
family member who is my regular driver to the drive in site. when i
got there they knew i was already in their system and, i just had to
give them the form to do this. at first they didn't know that i was
blind but, i had to educate them. to get the results through uc health
the web site was very accessible with jaws.

so, that's my two cents worth on this newsworthly issue. thanks again
and, i will talk to you all soon.

sincerely,
amy sabo
