Hello Everyone:

I am writing this email to reinforce what others have already said about the
importance for any one who can to attend the 16th Street Mall ADA
Stakeholders Meeting to be held via Zoom on Wednesday, August 5, from 5:00
PM to 7:00 PM. Even if you don't live or work in the city of Denver, you
probably visit the 16th Street Mall from time to time. The plans for the
mall redesign that we have seen would eliminate any tactual boundary between
the traffic lanes and areas where pedestrians would gather or walk. All
interested persons are welcome.

To get a Zoom link for the 16th Street Mall ADA Stakeholders Meeting, you
need to send an email to Loretta LaRiviere <Loretta.LaRiviere at jacobs.com>
indicating your interest in attending. You will initially receive a meeting
invitation without a Zoom link with a promise that the Zoom link will be
delivered before the meting.

To quote the original email:

"The City and County of Denver, along with their partners RTD and the
Downtown Denver Partnership, will host a Zoom meeting on Wednesday, August
5th from 5 to 7 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to brief and seek feedback
from the ADA community on the 16th Street Mall redevelopment project. The
meeting agenda will include an update on the project and an interactive
discussion with the group about construction impacts and future community
engagement. Your feedback and participation is valued and welcomed!"

Let us continue to send the message that the safety of everyone-including
the blind and other disabled people-must be paramount in any redesign of the
16th Street Mall!

Cordially,

Curtis Chong
