[Colorado-Talk] important, "Hamilton" audio described

Yes, the description could have been better, but then it would interrupted
the music. They did the best they could do with the musical. If they had
not done any description, then people would be complaining about that.

I agree. And I know I'd be unhappy if they talked over too much of the
singing, but it was like having no description at all, and there were so
many moments I wanted to know what was happening.

I agree with this assessment. I watched with someone who said that the
description missed so many details. Essentially, it was little better than
having the soundtrack because there was so much they didn't tell you. I
understand the philosophy of not talking over the music, but they didn't
even use the opportunities they had during transitions.

I've listened to some really excellent audio description, but what Disney
provided wouldn't fall into that category for me. This is only my opinion,
of course. I was hoping for more.

We had a better audio describer when I saw it live.

In any case, I appreciate the opportunity to listen to another audio
description of the performance.

Thanks for sharing this.

Nancy

Yes, however, according to Bonnie (who describes for films, TV, plays,
ballet, and more) the description was poor and sparce. I recommend you try
this version to get professional accurate audio description.

My wife and I went over to a friend's house on Saturday and watched
Hamilton, it was described on Disney!

Hi NFB folks,

What an opportunity this is.

will start with some pre-show information and start the actual describing at
approximately 2:30. Mountain time. The show is about 2-1/2 hours long. If
you would like to join, let Bonnie know and she will send you an e-mail
invitation that day. You can join on computer or phone or laptop. Bonnie
will be sharing her screen for both the video and audio to be seen by
