Greetings friends and colleagues,

I trust you have seen this update from our national office. Whether you have
registered for the convention or not, we urge you, we warmly welcome you to
take advantage of this first ever NFB Virtual Convention. We know that you
or your Federation friends and colleagues may have challenges around
accessing the convention. So, let’s help each other out. If you know of
someone who you think may have some trouble accessing the convention by
landline, smartphone, or computer please reach out and offer your assistance
and support. You can also contact me or Jessica Beecham if you know of
someone who would benefit from some extra one on one training. We will do
our best to provide if we can. Please do not forget the Rookie Roundup. I
guess this year we are all rookies. Learning the best ways to navigate the
virtual landscape is only a little different than learning to navigate the
corridors of one of our big fancy convention hotels. We will also be having
a training for Colorado folks this Thursday evening. Complete details coming
soon. Please reach out to your friends, family members, anyone you think
might enjoy the entertainment and empowering information about blindness
available at our upcoming National Convention. Remember that you do not have
to have registered to enjoy the virtual convention. But only those who have
registered will get these regular updates from out national office. So,
let’s spread the word and encourage operators, parents, teachers, job
seekers, students, seniors, the whole world to join our Federation family
for National Convention.
