Hello all please share with all your guide dog users friends, puppy raisers and retired guide dog teams.

The annual Puppy Paddle for Guide Dog Puppies in Training, Career Change Dogs and Working Guides will be held Saturday, September 10 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Cook Creek Pool, 8711 Lone Tree Parkway, Lone Tree 80124. There will be NO COST for this event, a whole hour of dogs from GDB (or other guide dog schools) only. If you ask the dogs, this event is the most popular, most fun event of the entire year. By keeping a close eye on them, we can let the dogs off leash to run, play, splash and enjoy the hour. Everyone should bring a towel, clean up bag or two, and a water toy if you wish. You may also want to tie a ribbon or scarf around your dog's neck for easy I.D. at a distance.

Carolyn Shovlowsky has arranged this event for us again this year. Thank you, Carolyn! All clubs are invited. Puppy Club Leaders, please inform your raisers and email Carolyn with approximate number of dogs from your group you expect to attend by September 2 at knowmyabcs at icloud.com. No need for a head count of people--the more spectators, the more closely we can monitor the dog activity. The securely fenced pool area is large and luxurious. Come and enjoy! Everyone please note, location for Puppy Paddle is new. Cook Creek Pool isn't far from Sky Ridge Hospital.
