Some info on your options for voting in Colorado follows below. I'm curious as to whether you prefer to do a mail-in ballot, or do you get out and go to the machines? Me, I prefer getting out in public and using the still fairly new, accessible voting machines.

*2013 Colorado election turnout numbers coming soon!* "10/22/2013"

Over three million ballots have been mailed to Colorado voters for the coming November election. And beginning Monday, early voting centers will open around the state.

To help you track the turnout results, we'll be releasing counts on the number of returned mail ballots and in-person starting Friday, October 25 with updates on:

  * October 29
  * October 31
  * November 1
  * November 4
  * November 5

These numbers will include the total returns by party affiliation and by county.

In the meantime, voters can continue to use GoVoteColorado.com [ http://www.sos.state.co.us/pubs/elections/vote/VoterHome.html ] for a variety of purposes including updating their mailing address, requesting a mail ballot, tracking their mail ballot, finding their early vote centers or polling places, and reviewing their district information. Voters can also register to vote online at GoVotColorado.com [ http://www.sos.state.co.us/pubs/elections/vote/VoterHome.html ]* through October 28*. After that, you can still register to vote in-person at a polling place.

Look for the first turnout results on Friday morning.
