[Colorado-talk] SNL Clip of Gov. Paterson skit

Hello, all. Anna, you bring up an interesting question about blindness 
organizations such as the NFB supporting someone like Paterson, who seems to 
have a lousy philosophy of blindness.  .  However, I don't think our stance 
regarding the SNL skit is entirely based out of support for him.  Chris 
originally said it, and I agree: that the SNL skit does far more damage than 
just to Paterson: it damages all blind people who are out there trying to 
get jobs, go to school, etc.  It makes us all look bad, as do Paterson's own 
comments.  So even though I can't feel too bad for Paterson himself, I am 
glad the NFB is speaking out against the skit.
