Hello,

Yes, we had an amazing time at the self-defense workshop at convention. It was a great one. I got to break a wooden board with my bare hands -- something I would have thought that I wouldn't be able to do.

I also enjoyed using AIRA access throughout the whole hotel - it was wonderful to be able to explore, and navigate independently - and even using a coke machine fully independently! Yes, I did just that Saturday morning. 😊

What an awesome weekend it was. The Banquet speech was also a very good one.

I also met many people and networked with many people in the field of blindness, which is something I needed to strengthen my job searching skills. Speaking about jobs, the job seeker seminar was awesome as well, and the panelists were on the top of their game motivating everybody at the tables. It was wonderful to have such great advice given.

Thanks for making this convention a good one and I hope to join again in a near future!

Humberto

All of the sessions went well! I understand that the self-defense session had 20 participants in the class. When I talked with him they had told me they had had a fantastic time!
