Hi,

Below is information about an opportunity to participate in a paid research study in the Seattle area. In the first email (not shown) the study seemed to be about something different; thus Natalie’s clarification. It will take place in the next week or so, so respond ASAP if you want to participate. Please forward this message to anyone else you think might be interested.

Marci-
Just to clarify and give you a little more information about this study. This study is more of a “day in the life” sort of thing. In addition, you will be showing them how you use technology in your normal day and feel free to go about your day as you normally would. i.e. if you go to the grocery store or on walks, do that and show them. It will be with 3 folks from the research team. They are looking to see how people with visual impairments navigate their world and use technology to do so. So it’s actually beyond the scope of just using email on your phone.

Is this something you and others would still be interested in? The compensation is the same as other studies, $15 per hour. The interview/observation would be 2-3 hours and start in the next week or so. The researchers will come to you as a participant so they are flexible about locations, etc.
