Subject: [Waped] Autism Spectrum Navigators at Bellevue College is seeking a Program Manager!
Autism Spectrum Navigators (ASN) is seeking a Program Manager! Based in Bellevue College, Washington, ASN is in its fifth year and serves over 200 students on the Autism Spectrum. Based on the social justice and diversity models of disability, ASN cohort students have shown improved outcomes in GPA, course completion and retention, as well as improvement in soft skills, through a combination of peer mentoring and academic instruction. Campus and community education in Autism cultural competence also plays a role in removing barriers to success for ASN students, and our team seeks to support other colleges in implementing our proven protocols so that students across the State can benefit.
The ASN Program Manager coordinates all aspects of Autism Spectrum Navigators program services, assists higher-level staff and reports to the ASN Program Director. This position manages the work of lower-level staff and provides direct student services as needed. They are in a pivotal position as the program's primary point of contact for staff, and they assist the Program Director in providing accurate information regarding program policies and activities to community and outside organizations. The Program Manger provides specialized, technical assistance and consultation to program participants, staff and outside entities.
Deadline to apply is 11:59PM Feb. 15.
