Hi Everybody:

The Alliance for Braille Literacy will hold its first seminar to familiarize braille readers with the Nemeth Uniform Braille System on Saturday January 25,
1:30--3:30 P.M. Central time. Those in the St. Louis area are encouraged to attend in person. For those who cannot attend in person however, the seminar will be streamed over the internet. If sufficient notice is provided, we will arrange for all participants to have braille or print versions of the seminar materials in your hands for the seminar. This seminar presents the basics of the code and is neither scientific or mathematical in nature. It gives you the basics and the groundwork for later seminars that will present such material.

You will be impressed with the simplicity and the logic of the Nemeth Uniform Braille System. Information will be presented to assist readers to understand the benefits of this superior braille reading and writing system.

To register for the seminar, please either contact me, Chris Gray, via email at this address or phone (314) 832-7172 and ask for me in person.

We look forward to a broad range of attendees and hope you may be one of them.

Thank you.

Chris
