Fellow Listers,

Congratulations to Cindy Bennett are more than appropriate here. She has
been selected by Governor Inslee as the representative from the seventh
legislative District to the Washington State School for the Blind Board of
Trustees. She has already provided tremendous leadership and enthusiasm in
the NFB as the Secretary of the National Association of Blind Students. She
will be a tremendous addition to the WSSB board as she can bring the
perspective of the recent student, an organizational leader, and a
relatively new resident of Washington State. Nice going Cindy, and you can
count on us to support you and your efforts to help the state school for the
blind to continue its goals for excellence.
