Right. And, to my knowledge he never applied for a State scholarship.

> As I travelled to a long night of intense fun and positive results at the Westin Hotel in downtown Seattle, where Jay Inslee, Maria Cantwell, and a host of state partisan candidates were celebrating actual and potential victories, I listened to 97.3. The conservative talk show hosts from KIRO FM, and the sister station at 770 AM, spent the time talking about how Mitt Romney could still win the presidential election. The more liberal talk show hosts countered with the actual mathematical facts as they were at the time. It sort of reminded me of the debate about budgets, and the deficit solution proposals. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the evening immensely, and met my daughter Rebecca there as she was interning for Jay Inslee. As I rode home with her, she asked about Cyrus Habib, and whether I had heard whether this blind candidate for the 48th district state house of representatives had won his race. I said I had not. She said she saw him at the party as well. I did not know whether he was there, nor of course did I meet him, though I met a lot of excellent folks who had worked hard throughout the 2012 campaign season. All in all, it was a great experience, and I recommend that all of us should become politically active in whatever party or issue we are interested in.
