I cannot verify the authenticity of the message below; the Internet headers
indicate a rather convoluted path but the post does seem to originate on the
Redmond campus. So if someone dares, have a go!

The message is clean, i.e., no viruses.

Microsoft User Research is conducting a unique usability study. Our
Researchers are inviting blind people to participate and share their
feedback and opinions with our Researchers. This is your opportunity to
potentially guide and improve current and future Microsoft services and
products for our legally blind users. We currently have two upcoming user
research studies for people who are legally blind and people who are
completely blind.

This 2- hour user research study will take place from September 20th to
September 23rd during normal business hours on Microsoft's Redmond campus.
Our coordinators will set up transportation arrangements from the Overlake
Transit Center for all scheduled participants. All participants will be
offered a choice of new Microsoft software, hardware or games from a current
list of our most popular titles. If you know anyone else who would be
interested in participating, please pass this on to them!

If you are interested in participating, please send the following
information to uccoord at microsoft.com with a subject of "Screen Reading":

1. Name/Phone Number:

2. Job/Company (If applicable)

3. How do you categorize your blindness?

a. Legally blind (with visual acuity of 20/200 or less with maximum
correction)

b. Completely blind

c. Other, please describe

4. Which screen reading program do you use (ex: VoiceOver, Jaws, Narrorator,
etc.)?

. How often do you use it?

5. If scheduled, do you have reliable transportation to the Overlake Transit
Center?

Interested in other research opportunities? Sign up online at
www.microsoft.com/UserResearch to be considered for other research
opportunities.

Best,
