These are long-shots but have you tried the Department of Services for the
Blind? It couldn't recommend anyone but could send out a blurb for you.
Also, how about the Lilac DounFoundation in Spokane?

Subject: [nfbwatlk] where to recruit blind individuals

We're still looking for individuals who became blind (using the definition
of having visual acuity of light perception or worse) before the age of
three.

We've sent emails to you guys and WCB but we're still short of subjects who
meet all our fussy criteria.

I was wondering if anyone had some good ideas about other places we can try
to recruit?

Suggestions really welcome

Ione
