Greetings Past, Current, and Future Volunteers and Ambassadors!

Feet First is currently in the process of updating all of our volunteer
records, and would be so grateful if you would help us out by taking this
easy, eight question <http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/C2Q9S73> survey to make
sure we still have your accurate contact information and preferences.

Additionally, here are a few upcoming volunteer opportunities we are looking
to fill:

Outreach - Bellevue Walking Audits

Photographer <http://www.idealist.org/view/volop/dMt8J7Tp2cxd/> - this
person would be on our walk and be responsible for taking group shots as
well as documenting the issue points with people interacting with the space.

Person who lives and/or works in Bellevue willing to assist with walking
audit information gathering and note taking during the walk, as well as
providing valuable insight and personal experiences.
When - Thursday, December 1st from 11:30 am-1:45 pm, Saturday, December 3rd
from 8:45 am-10:45 am

Outreach - Pedestrian Safety

City of Seattle Pedestrian Safety Event - Feet First will be participating
in this event to draw attention to the increased number of injuries and
collisions during the holiday season. This year the theme will be "You
shouldn't have to gear up to cross the street" and participants will be
wearing all sorts of protective gear (football, bike, construction gear,
etc). There will be a few celebrity name speakers and local news and print
media covering the event. We need all the participation we can get!

When - Saturday, December 10th from 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Office - Salesforce and Mailings

Salesforce Data Wizard - We are looking to update our Salesforce records to
ensure they include all of our thoughtful donors. Do you know your way
around Salesforce? Can you spare an hour a week to help us get our database
in order? Can we call you our Salesforce super hero? Please say yes!
When - flexible times and dates over the next few months

Mailing Assistant - Feet First requires the assistance of a nimble fingered
helper this holiday season. Bonus points if you have nice penmanship! Do you
have a few hours available the week of November 28th? Let us know and we'll
work out the date and time to have you stop by the office!
When - flexible times and days the week of November 28th

Neighborhood Walking Ambassadors - we are recruiting and training volunteers
enthusiastic about walking to become Neighborhood Walking Ambassadors,
representatives of Feet First who lead walks in their neighborhoods. Some of
the ambassadors will be trained to lead Watershed Walks and/or walks
centered around the culture and history of Rainier Beach, but you could lead
any type of walk you like! Contact me to learn more!

If you can volunteer for any of these events/opportunities or would like to
learn more, please email me at darcy at feetfirst.org or call our office at
206-652-2310.

You can help make a meaningful contribution to solving community problems,
creating a safer environment for people to walk, and supporting sustainable
transportation. Volunteers are a crucial part of achieving our mission!

Thank you!
