Subject: [wtbbl] Be part of WTBBL's Brown Bag Book Club!

Can't come to WTBBL's Brown Bag Book Club in June? Let the book club come to
you!

The Washington Talking Book & Braille Library's Brown Bag Book club will be
broadcast over the airways on our weekly, call-in talk show!

Join WTBBL on Thursday, June 9th at the library for an in-person discussion
or listen in on Wednesday, June 15th to our live talk show to be part of the
discussion!

Our Evergreen Radio Reading Service's talk show is available online via our
streaming website (http://www.wtbbl.org/ERRSwebstream.aspx) or through a
radio receiver that we will provide. The radio receiver will only work for
patrons that live in the Seattle, Spokane and Tri-cities areas. If you live
in one of these areas, call the library (206-615-0400 or 800-542-0866) to
order a receiver. If you are not in those areas, streaming using your
computer's music player, such as WinAmp, Windows Media Player or ITunes
provides you with a clear, easy to understand, live stream of the broadcast.

More details, including the number to call-in with your questions on June
15th, will be sent out closer to the date of each event.

The theme for our June book club selection is Novel Destinations. To show
that destinations are not only in faraway places, WTBBL has selected to read
The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver a book about travel within the United
States and personal growth of a young girl.

The Bean Trees is available at WTBBL for download (DB 27589 -
http://hdl.loc.gov/loc.nls/db.27589), as downloadable Web-braille (BR 09389
- Volume 1. http://hdl.loc.gov/loc.nls/br.09389v01, Volume 2.
http://hdl.loc.gov/loc.nls/br.09389v02), on cassette (RC 27589) and in Large
Print (LP 6493).

Please contact WTBBL (206-615-0400) if you are interested in receiving a
digital cartridge or braille copy of the title.
