ACCESSIBLE WORLD TEK TALK PRESENTS A DISCUSSION OF THE NEW BOOK: GETTING
STARTED WITH THE IPHONE, AN INTRODUCTION FOR BLIND USERS, FEB. 21, 2011

News Wire:

The first ever book about the iPhone for blind users, with some
bonus mini-tutorials, will be the topic for Tek Talk on February
21. Anna Dresner and Dean Martineau will discuss their book, and
will also each give a mini-course in i-device use. Anna will
discuss reading on the iPhone, iPad and iPod, how and where to
get books and how best to read them. Dean will discuss using
Safari, the built-in web browser, to carry out advanced tasks
like buying plane tickets, and will discuss some apps that make
web use easier. After all this, there will be plenty of time to
answer questions about the i-devices or about the National
Braille Press Book.
