Seahawks Return to Division Play Before BYE Week
[cid:image001.jpg at 01CB614F.5938B3B0]The Seahawks close out the first quarter of the season on the road, looking to improve to 3-1, as they travel to the midwest to face the Rams in St. Louis this Sunday. The game will be televised on FOX (channel 13 in Seattle) and broadcast on 97.3 FM and 710 ESPN Radio in Seattle. The game is slated to kick off at 10 a.m. (PT).
Seattle entertains its Bye Week in Week 5 and have posted a 16-5 record in games leading up to the week off. Dallas leads the league with a 18-4 record heading in to such games.
It will be the 24th regular season meeting between the two clubs and 17th since joining the NFC West in 2002. Seattle leads the series 14-9 and is 6-3 all-time at the Edward Jones Dome. The Seahawks have won 12 of the last 15 meetings and are in the midst of a 10-game winning streak since 2005, after losing three in a row to the Rams (2003-04). The 10-game streak is the longest-ever for Seattle vs. an opponent.
Seattle is 0-1 versus the Rams in the postseason dropping a 2004 Wild Card Game 27-20 in Seattle on January 8, 2005.
In the last meeting, Justin Forsett set career-highs in carries (22), yards (130) and touchdowns (2) in Seattle's 27-17 win in St. Louis on November 29, 2009.
