      1. Short-Term Event Planner/Project Coordinator job on campus: 
      a. Temporary until June: $13/hr 
      b. Work on campus: 16 hours per week maximum 
      c. Position is open until filled: Will hire on the spot for the right person 
      Requirements: 
      d. Experience planning, coordinating and facilitating a Community event. Experience can be volunteer/unpaid, or work-related. 
      e. Communication skills that are business-level relationship-focused, to represent Edmonds CC to parents, community agencies and school districts. 
      f. Exceptional internal communication skills with staff, the planning teams and vendors for the event. 
      g. Ease in marketing a concept and building support for it 
      h. Computer software proficient in: MS Office Suite for Windows 2007: Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Publisher is required. 
      i. Exceptionally self-motivated and organized. 
      j. Intuitive project leadership and experienced critical thinking skill 
      k. Skill in producing promotional materials: Event flyers, promotional emails, Event handout materials and formal business letters or memos. 
      l. Writing skill with exceptional Business English to create a report with Excel pie charts at the end of the project. 
      m. Success in meeting deadlines 
      n. You love working with people and easily solve problems with a customer service approach to internal and external team members.
