Subject: Alert: Openings Available for Metro's Transit Advisory Committee

The King County Transit Advisory Committee is currently seeking applications for membership. The 15-member group, representing all parts of King County, meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in downtown Seattle. Members must be active bus riders. The purpose of the group is to advise Metro management, the King County Council and the King County Executive about policy issues that directly effect transit users. Members are appointed to a two-year term. Partial and full term positions are currently available. To learn more about the Transit Advisory Committee, and to access an application form, go to: http://www.kingcounty.gov/transportation/kcdot/MetroTransit/AdvisoryGroups/TAC.aspx.
