Subject: ADA Task Force recommendations and outreach

Thank you all for your participation and please review the attached list
of recommendations. I will be contacting you for opportunities to share
these recommendations with your constituents and/or staff. I would love
to speak with your clients and staff and if you have any gatherings that
lend themselves to this type of discussion please let me know. I've
also attached a customer comment form that you can download, print and
share.

C-TRAN will host a series of open houses to inform folks and solicit
their suggestions. These open houses will take place:

*         February 19,  5:00 - 7:30 p.m. at Fisher's Landing Transit
Center, 3510 SE 164th Ave, Vancouver

*         February 23,  5:00 - 7:30 p.m. at Battle Ground City Hall, 109
SW 1st, Suite 140, Battle Ground

*         February 24,  5:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the Camas Library, 625 NE
4th Ave., Camas

*         February 26,  5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at C-TRAN headquarters, 2425 NE
65th Ave., Vancouver

*         February 28,  10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, Vancouver City Hall,
210 E. 13th St., Vancouver

In addition to open houses and group meetings, Task Force
recommendations are available on C-TRAN's website. Visitors can comment
by clicking on the contact button and e-mailing C-TRAN with their
opinions. Please indicate ADA Task Force in the subject line so comments
are routed to the proper staff person.

We will send post cards to all active passengers informing them of the
open houses and website information.

You'll notice that the working group came up with eleven suggestions.
The group will meet again in March to discuss the results of our
outreach effort. Staff will keep C-TRAN executive management informed
and they will in turn brief the C-TRAN Board of Directors. Our hope is
that the Board will adopt the Task Force recommendations this spring
with implementation sometime this summer.

The draft recommendations attached is the first step. Your participation
is vital to the success of our mission, to sustain transportation
alternatives for people with disabilities. Please call me if you wish to
participate in the outreach. Thank you for your commitment and
cooperation.
