The Kitsap County Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Washington is putting the final touches on its first Assistive Technology Expo which will be held on Saturday December 5, 2009 from 10:00 am to 5:00 PM.  The event will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall 2515 Burwell Street in Downtown Bremerton.  



The Hall is located on the corner of Burwell and Montgomery, and is served by Kitsap Transit Route number 20.  Persons arriving in Bremerton by ferry can board the route 20 bus at the Bremerton Transportation Center.  When you get off of the bus you will be in front of the UNOCAL 76 gas station.  You will need to turn left and walk to the intersection.  There is a traffic signal at this intersection.  Turn left and cross the street.  You will be directly in front of the hall.  C ontinue down the side walk and enter the parking lot (in the back of the hall.  in the corner (middle of the building) there is a single glass door.  Enter through this door and take the stairs or the elevator to the second level.  



There is no admission charge for this event.  There will be door prizes as well as coffee and punch.  Invvited orgainzations include:  NextLevel(Distributors of Freedom Scientific Products), Maxi Aids, Blinksoft, Washington Talking Book and Braille Library and Dept of Services for the Blind.
