Subject: Monitor available for download

For those who like to listen on the computer or who use a Victor Reader
Stream or other MP3 player, the Braille Monitor is now available for digital
download. For quite a while, you could read the Monitor on-line with a
computer. Now MP3 versions of the audio recording are also available. Just
go to www.nfb.org and click on publications and then on the Braille
Monitor. You can choose which issue you wish to read. Then you can either
listen on line or download a zipped version of the magazine. You can unzip
the file to a comp8uter or to a notetaker or MP3 player such as the Stream.
I downloaded the December, 2008 and January, 2009 issues last night and it
worked very well.
Every Federationist should read the Monitor. Although there are articles
specific to the situation in the United States, most of the Monitor has
universal value. It's a great resource!
