David:
I appreciate your patience as you had this discussion with Eric.
I, too, expect that You (Eric) will adhere to our wishes. You used the
word "coexist", we have just found a formula that will allow you to make
contributions and yet not affect the climate of our list. Having said
that, I will expect that you will in the future plan to follow the
rules. Thanks in advance!

National Federation of the Blind of TN

Subject: Re: [Tn-talk] Topical issues
I have e-mailed you about appropriate posts before and it would seem
you don't understand, or choose not to understand what I say.
If a person is creative enough, he or she can connect anything to
blindness, but that isn't the point and you should know it. I am
sure the ACB doesn't want a bunch of NFB stuff forwarded to its
lists, and I don't want there stuff either. What the ACB is calling
for with its members doesn't belong here, nor does what it does
organizationally.
Yes, there are topics of interest to the broader blind community, and
posting information of relevant and appropriate topics here is fine,
but posting a url to something somewhere else surrounded by a bunch
of ACB stuff isn't.
Look at it this way, if the information is important enough, and able
to stand on its own, with out ACB stuff in it, then it may be
appropriate to post here.
I doubt we will ever agree on this stuff. Try trimming out all the
ACB list crap, and if what is left is worth people knowing, (not just
what ACB is doing,) then consider cross posting it.
