Prestige. Honor. An exceptional opportunity to meet the Federation up
close, but of the five hundred or more who apply, only thirty students will
be seated in this year's National Scholarship class, which begs the
question: "How do I improve my chances of being one of the chosen?"
Join us this evening for a rare opportunity to hear from the experts. A
highly successful business student on one end. A dynamic leader on the
other, and both have not only been members of previous classes, they have
risen to the top of their class to receive the distinguished Jernigan award.
Learn about the application process and the items that will make you a
competitive candidate from the scholarship chair himself. Learn about your
arrival at the national convention and the whirlwind of activities that
could be your scholarship week by a previous finalist.
We begin tonight sharp at 9:00 PM Eastern, 6:00 PM Pacific. We will
absolutely finish at 10:00 out of respect for our speakers' busy schedules,
and so in the interest of managing an informative and efficient
teleconference, I would advise interested participants to bring two specific
questions with a possible third in case your question is asked and answered.
Following brief introductions, Mr. Lewis and Mr. Booher will give a synopsis
of their experiences, and then we will move down the roster individually so
that everyone participating has the opportunity to pose their inquiries.
Are you interested? The information then:
Dial-In Number: 712-775-7100
Access Code: 257963
We'll see you there.

"A coward has asked the question, is it safe? Expediency asks the question,
is it politic? Vanity asks the question, is it popular? But conscience asks
the question, is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a
position that is neither safe nor politic nor popular but he must take it
because conscience tells him it is right."--Martin Luther King Jr.
