Good afternoon everyone,
A new section of the Kenneth Jernigan Archive is now available on the
NFB of Tennessee Affiliate Web Site at:
http://www.nfb-tennessee.org
This section is a collection of the writings of the late Dr. Kenneth
Jernigan, immediate past-President of the NFB, and most important of all a
native Tennessean. This new section currently contains four classic
presentations given by Dr. Jernigan at several past National Conventions.
All four selections have text, audio, and video downloads, (If available)
you can read, view, or listen to online, or on-the-go. This is one component
that needed to be installed before the 2007 NFBTN Convention Archives could
be uploaded. Tennessee Vendors, your material is next in line for inclusion
in the archive. I expect to have it up and running by the end of the week so
you can keep pushing back the sheriff! Mary and I are keeping that situation
in our prayers and hope you can kill that bill to protect the rights and
livelihoods of blind vendors in Tennessee.
Finally I want to let you know that I recently became a Web hosting
reseller and am willing to host NFB Web sites free of charge. If you're
looking for hosting for your chapter or division's Web site please contact
me off-list to discuss your needs. You will still need to purchase your Web
site's domain. I can assist with that as well. Please let me know how I can
help you put your chapter or division on the Web to increase Tennessee's
Internet presence. Best wishes from Mary and I for a great week ahead. See
you in Atlanta.
