[Stylist] question about wording in line of my acrostic poem in progress

Hi,
New here but I vote "bow to". It compliments tge word "glory" on my
opinion. Then "laid below" sounds kinda vague for me because it gives me
the tickling of mind-humor... laid can be in different positions oppose to
bow. I don't think anyone can mistake bowing to a laid on your back.
