I have a niece that climbed trees better than any boy I've ever known. 
Those are not identifying characteristics of a girl.  I have 5 children and 
18 grandchildren.  Even as babies, when their clothing tends to be unisex, 
you know a girl from a boy.  All of my friends had babies at the same time I 
did and now I see, even though my sight is impaired, I know the difference.
