[Reader-users] A Few Questions About Starting The Reader

Hello, Dave And All,

Thanks to dean mills, who called shortly after I sent him my phone number
off list, I now have the reader working, and quite nicely at that. <smile>
In fact, I was even able to read a piece of glossy print, just to see if I
had messed up the polarizers. The page read vetter than the envelope it
came in! It was cut off in spots, but I don't think the polarizers have
anything to do with that; and I was able to determine who had sent it, and
that it was something I could research on line. Please forgive and allow me
to crow a little. <smile>

After a very short period of time, I am already at least as pleased with the
Mobile Reader as I had been with the Classic.

Dave, I will keep your number handy in case I have any further questions.

There are a couple of quick things I didn't hear in the audio tutorial, like
why I don't hear the word, "Ready" spoken when I press the button, and why I
seem to hear a lot of beeping during picture-taking. I don't recall hearing
that on the tutorial and any demos. I wonder if I did something to the
settings. This isn't a complaint. It reads well! I'm just curious what I
have probably done without intending.

Thanks again, and a special thanks to Dean.

Pam
