I have received a notice from UPS that my Reader has been shipped and will
arrive tomorrow. I recall some discussion of things to watch for, such as a
delay and the needto press a key if headphones are used. I am also looking
forward to the training sheet.
There is no local dealer, so I will be learning a lot on my own. Mark
Gibbons is most helpful, but he is 250 miles away; so I'm wondering if
anyone has any "heads up" details for me when I open the box, would you
please let me know?

I have ben following the discussions here quite closely, so am somewhat
aware of polarizer issues, etc. I just figure if anyone has a little hint
or two, possibly undocumented, I and other mobile newbies might appreciate.
This is an upgrade, so I am wondering what I'll have to unlearn from the
Classic days. <smile> I already understand the heighth from Reader to
paper will be different, and Mr. Gibbons has worked with me on pisitioning
during demos here at my home and at a conference in Sacramento, California.
In fact, I like the idea of a shorter distance.

Thanks for any hints, and you can always write me off list at the address
above.

I liked the Classic, and debated long and hard before deciding to upgrade,
but the high camera resolution, portability, and very positive comments from
the list helped me make the decision to switch.

Thanks very much in advance.

Pam
