I too have Wayfinder and use an external GPS. You've been given some considerable information already and I'll just briefly add my comments for you.

Wayfinder and Talks came together at a discount price which was prt of my motivation.

The POI feature is fantastic and very beneficial to me on many fronts.

The accessibility of things is pretty well managed though I wish for better documentation on it.

The route planning is powerful and accurate in my limitted experience.

I lament the absence of a cross road announcement feature while journeying and wish for more dcustomization of announcements while travelling without the need to use keystrokes.

All in all I'm satisfied but Wayfinder is clearly still able to improve and become the fantastic product it could become. Some of tha tis the Talks integration and som e of it is Wayfinder feature developement/enhancement.

Be well and good Luck!

  Hi Randy and all,

Have any of you purchased the GPS system Way finder along with the reader
and Talks for the N-82? I would be most interested in knowing if the Way
Finder GPS works well and is accessible. I am so tired of lugging around so
many pieces of adaptive equipment and love the thought of an accessible
phone, the reader and a GPS all on a cell phone.

I sure would appreciate any input you have to offer.

It new about the new $5 in March before I did....

It has failed to read only one bill I've had and by the tatterred form of
that old bill I wasn't entirely surprised. That is in conjunction with
reading roughly 30 bills successfully without challenge.
