[Reader-users] trial

Dear All,
First of all, other countries do have banks and finance companies. Who do
you think is holding most of America's debt?
U.S.Laws have very little effect and reach outside the country and
repossessing on default loans would be nearly impossible in a foreign
country.
The NFB does not have the time or resources to go after someone who defaults
on their loan. This would take money away from people in our country and
dilute the funds to the point that no one here could possiblely get what
they need.
I thought about this since my first post to Will, when I suggested that he
join the NFB and ask for a loan.
I realize now that I was mistaken.
Will should pursue the (R.I.B.) Royal Institute for the Blind in the U.K.
and try to get them to establish such a fund based on donations from the
U.K.
The World Blind Union, to which the NFB belongs, maybe should be the body to
establish such a program with the help of others, internationally.
Perhaps the United Nations could play a role in this but with all of the
corrupt officials in the U.N., I doubt it will happen. They would likely
only steal the money as they have done in so many other programs.
This is where the NFB philosophy comes in. We need to infect people in
other countries and spur them on to action by giving them good ideas and
showing them how.
If we can do it, they can do it. We can help them in their struggle, but we
can not fight all of their fights for them. They must win their own battles
for independence and freedom.
David Evans, NFBF
