Hi Chris:

Applying the polarizers, as in just sticking them on is no problem.  The
issue is their precise alignment.  I have actually tried this myself and
thought I did a pretty good job.  However, when I showed the Reader to
someone who knows how to line up polarizers, I learned that the small
deviation from the exact positioning required really does make a difference
in performance.  You should definitely check this out further.

Hmmm ... I just apply the more or less circular one to the camera lens, and
the ... other one ... to the flash.  When I had to reapply them, it took me
all of about twenty seconds.
