I've similarly had no problems with either my smartphone or my Pocket PC phone on flights, except during takeoff and landing--and that was originating and terminating both inside and outside the United States.

I would just tell the attendant that the phone was in flight mode and

However, I still have another question concerning this subject: if while in flight the KNFB Reader Movile user is seen by a flight staf member (steward, pilot, etc) and this person asks the user to turn off his or her cell phone, is an explanation about the reader enough, or does the Reder user needs to show a paper that explains all about this wonderful and harmless software, in order to avoid any kind of trouble?
