[Reader-users] help re-calibrating reader?

Dave;
I have asked about three times, how much time should we expect from a
battery.  If we need to plan a trip, we need to know.  If it is so short
and I had known, I could have charged it the first night.  Most devices
do not eat up power in 2.5 days, with out use.  Does this mean my almost
new battery is defective?

Hey there all,
I just wanted to let all of you know that you should be patient with the
device. I can understand everyone's frustrations with technology. As
some of you have said, we've done the best we could with the technology
we had during the release of the Model A and subsequently Model B. As
new technology is developed, I'm sure the KNFB reader will evolve in to
something new. At the current time, I again would like to ask everyone
to try to help each other as much as possible. If there is something
that can't seem to be solved, please feel free to give me a call and I
will do what I can to help troubleshoot. Currently I have both devices,
so any questions are good questions. As for the issue with the power
chord falling out of the reader during the charging process, I
understand this frustration as well. 
I've had many times when I thought I was charging the reader, but I
wasn't. 
The best advice I can give to any of you facing this trouble is to check
your power status before you leave the machine and make sure that it
reports being connected to ACPower. if it does, I would just let the
device turn off by it self so that you don't inadvertently bump it out
of position. Other than that, just be patient. On a final note, I will
be at Washington Seminar starting on Monday, so if any of you need extra
assistance, I'll do my best to help where I can.
