I agree, Kimberly. We recently got the ability to read paper money. But,
if there will be no further updates for the software, we won't be able to
identify the money when it's changed to different colors, or whatever
they're doing.
I really hope we won't be left out in the cold if we decide not to go to the
phone. It's been called an upgrade, but I'm not so sure...it's just
different.

The main thing I want to know is: If my KNFB Reader Classic ever needs
repaired, will repairs be supported? Will upgrades continue to be available
for the Classic. Not all of us will want to purchase this new cell phone
reader. Phones are her today, gone tomorrow. When I got my Reader, I
presumed that, like many of the other scanning products on the market, it
would be updated for a period of time and then after seven years or so,
would gradually be phased out. I was very impressed with the upgrades KNFB
had available for the Reader Classic, and it was my hope (and my
understanding) that those upgrades would continue. Some of us prefer this
Reader over the cell phone. So now what?
