[Reader-users] classic

Dear tribble,

This guy doen't know what he is talking about.
The new reader only cost $2,100.00 out right.

The software to add to the phone is just $1,000.00, but you still need to
buy the phone, have the filters added and either "talks" or Mobile Speak
added to have the reader, accessible cell phone and everything.
The classic is still a good unit and will still do what it was designed for.
They are just some people who are pissed of because they may have gotten the
last of the line in that model.
The same as some guy who just bought the last 2007 model the day before the
2008 model car hit the show rooms.
BE happy with what you have as long as it does what it was suppose to do.
No body held a gun to your head to buy it.
You still got it over me as I don't have a unit at all.
Think about how many Blind people out there wish they had what you have?
You did not lose anything unless you lost your mind.
You still have a great advancement in technology. Enjoy it and be happy for
what you have and not for what you don't.
If you really want the new unit. The NFB has a 3% loan program for the
purchase of new technology that you can get the papers for from the National
HQ in Baltimore. Curtis Chong oversees the program.
The NFB makes no profit on the program and the 3% is placed back into the
fund to provide other loans. You
Once you pay your loan off, you can get another one. I know people who have
used it as many as 3 times to buy things.
You
don't even have to be a member of the NFB to apply.

David Evans, NFBF
