Nope. As previously mentioned, the polarizers only reduce the glare when capturing text.

Does the polarizing addition change the camera for regular usage as a
camera?

Hi Nicki and David and all:
The upgrade discount to purchase the knfbReader Mobile applies to return of
any knfbReader classic.

The purchase price for the knfbReader Mobile does not include the phone.

You can obviously purchase the phone from any supplier. However, the
knfbReader Mobile software is only available through authorized dealers that
work with K-NFB Reading Technology, Inc. We recommend purchasing the phone
through our dealers as well. If the phone is purchased from another source,
you will still need to have your authorized dealer involved to install and
activate the software, configure the phone for use as a Reader, and install
the polarizers over the camera lense and flash. All of these steps require
training, which we provide to our dealers.

Thanks, J. G.

The phones are sold by Amazon. I understood that you got the
phone, and the software.
