[Reader-users] Question about upgrade offer for the Reader

My memory of Jim's presentation is that you would trade your Reader, pay
$500 to upgrade to the new software, and then purchase the phone, meaning
about $1100 to move from where you are to the new unit. If you want cell
service, you would sign up for that with a carrier who uses the GSM
protocol. If you want the telephone to be fully accessible - speak what is
on the screen - then you buy Talx or Mobile Speak and I do not know the cost
for either of those.
