[Reader-users] Question about upgrade offer for the Reader

so, I "own" a reader. If I trade it in, it would cost me $500.00 to
purchase the phoone, or am I bascially paying $3500 (the price of the
original reader plus another $500.00 for upgrading)? I need to know to let
the Lion's club in my area know due to the fact that they are loaning the
device to me, with the stipulation that I hand it over too another person if
they should want to try it out.
