Karl;
How do each of these run monthly or can I buy time for either. Someone
said I could use the Sin card, I think it is called. Is this the card
for storing time? New ballgame for me.

The reader comes on an unlocked N82 cell phone. This means that the
phone has no SIM card thus no phone service. You can use it as a reader
only if you want to do so. If you want to use the phone portion you
will have to have it activated to a phone network, AT&T or T-mobile in
the US. In this configuration you could use the phone as most of us did
for years which means that you could answer it and make calls on it. If
you want it to be fully accessible you will need Talx or Mobile Speak.
If you are an AT&T customer you can get MS for $89.00. Talx is $295.00.
The nice thing here is that you can choose to use these other items or
not and whenever you want.

On top of the cost of the KNFB software, and the cost of the phone, do I
also have to buy TALKS or MobileSpeak, or is that part of the KNFB
software? Or do I have to buy something extra to make the phone
functions talk, if I choose to use the reader as a phone, too?
