[Reader-users] Are there any updates due for the standard reader?

I hear ya -- It would be nice if the investment weren't so big. But such it
goes.
While I'm also feeling a little left behind having an old unit, I am glad
for one thing -- that they are having success enough to continue
development. If no one bought the classic version they wouldn't have enough
funds to continue development on new models.
But couldn't it be just a little cheaper???

This is what I get for being an "early adapter", I guess. I paid a lot,
and I get to pay more, if I want to stay up-to-date. I paid nearly $3000
for something that's already out of date. It brings me down, way down.
